Description

The Town of Lincoln is now accepting applications for the position of a Seasonal Museum Interpreter. The Museum Interpreter’s primary role will be to deliver costumed museum tours of the two historic buildings on the museum site. Other responsibilities include (but are not limited to) participating with and supervising youth volunteers at a variety of community outreach and special community events

Requirements

Current Standard First Aid / CPR C certification;
High Five Principles of Health Child Development Certificate;
Experience within a museum setting;
Pursuing a degree / diploma in education, museum studies, history, or related field;
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
Excellent organizational skills;
Experience and/or comfort with costumed interpretation;
Valid Police Waiver (for those candidates over the age of 18).

Compensation

This is a full-time summer position based on 35 hours a week. The hourly rate is $17.38
