Reporting to the Manager of Operations, the highly-organized and detail-oriented Regulatory Compliance Supervisor is responsible for the implementation and the overall administration of the compliance and quality management programs associated with the assets operated, maintained or otherwise administrated by the Public Works Department (e.g. DWQMS and the RQMS).  This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that all Public Works assets, including water and wastewater systems, meet regulatory requirements.

The Regulatory Compliance Supervisor is responsible for implementing and administrating the corporate health and safety program and associated sub-programs and supports the Supervisor, Environmental Services.

In performing these functions, this position is responsible for monitoring the various compliance programs ensuring they are functioning according to established policies, procedures, guidelines, and associated regulatory requirements. This role requires thorough knowledge of municipal water, wastewater and  stormwater operations, as it involves contributing to the development and management of the municipal CLI ECA program. Specifically the position oversees various internal/external audit programs, regulatory inspections, and recommends and implements corrective actions and regularly reporting on the health and overall effectiveness of these programs while working collaboratively with inter/intra-departmental stakeholders to support a collaborative, high-functioning corporate team.

Compensation

$87,298 - $102,125/yearly
