To support growth in the community, the Town of Lincoln is hiring a Recreation Programmer. The Town of Lincoln, located in the beautiful Niagara Region, offers a unique environment that encompasses Lake Ontario, the Bruce Trail and Niagara Escarpment and is situated between Hamilton and St. Catharines. Reporting to the Coordinator of Recreation and Sport as part of the Strategic Initiatives and Community Services Department, the Recreation Programmer will plan, implement and evaluate recreation programs that actively engage the community through diverse and inclusive opportunities designed to inspire creativity, encourage active living, and meet the diverse needs of residents. These could include, STEAM/STEM classes, physical activities, special interest workshops, and summer programs. The Recreation Programmer will also assist with Town events, supporting broader community engagement initiatives.

The Town of Lincoln offers an attractive, competitive salary, benefits and pension package, a progressive hybrid work environment, and career advancement opportunities. The salary for this position (based on a 35-hour work week) is $63,902.02 – $74,756.50.
