Bethesda is currently recruiting for a Marketing Coordinator.  This management level position will be based in Thorold, Ontario.

 

Reporting to the Marketing Manager this position  will promote services offered by Bethesda, within their assigned operational departments, and will be responsible for developing social media content, developing marketing materials based on program operations and ensuring all appropriate marketing takes place to promote their assigned operations in a manner that is supportive to Bethesda’s Mission, Vision and Values.  This will include writing posts, gathering analytical reviews and implementing social media advertising campaigns.  The Marketing Coordinator will work together with members of the Community Relations Department to ensure successful marketing campaigns and identified operational partners.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Manager, Marketing to develop and implement media campaigns, social media strategies and media strategies
  • Working cross-functionally to devise and implement marketing campaigns
  • Collecting data on marketing campaigns
  • Planning and coordinating seasonal promotions, events, or information sessions
  • Ensuring all information on social media is up-to-date and accurate
  • Appropriately respond and report on various social media communications under the direction of the Marketing Manager
  • Building and developing relationships with key business stakeholders
  • Leveraging analytics and competitive analysis to help create new campaigns
  • Ensuring ongoing communication with managers and other department leads
  • Supporting the optimization of marketing channels and return on investment
  • Coordinate with internal departments including Community Relations to maximize messaging

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in marketing or a related discipline is required.
  • Additional education in social media, creative design, or graphic design is preferred.
  • Minimum of two to three years’ experience working within a marketing department is required
  • Knowledge of and experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficient in social media marketing, Google Adwords and SEO
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
  • Strong knowledge of web publishing
  • Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team
