To support growth in the community, the Town of Lincoln is looking to hire a Manager of IT and Enterprise Services to assist with the development and implementation of IT strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives. The Town of Lincoln, located in the beautiful Niagara Region, offers a unique environment that encompasses Lake Ontario, the Bruce Trail and Niagara Escarpment and is situated between Hamilton and St. Catharines. Reporting to the Director, Economic Development and Communications, the Manager of IT and Enterprise Services is the primary liaison responsible for planning, executing, and delivering various corporate IT projects within the municipality. With a focus on IT infrastructure projects and Business Application Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for working within budget, on-time, and in accordance with project specifications The Manager of IT and Enterprise Services also provides leadership and mentoring to the staff of the IT division, by providing guidance, support, supervision, and ensures that the teams skills and tasks align with the organization’s needs. Another major responsibility of this role is to ensure the efficient and ongoing administration, operation, security and management of the Town’s multi-location network, cellular infrastructure, IP telephony, etc., by developing and implementing security policies, procedures, protocols while also conducting risk assessment to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement. This position is responsible for forecasting, planning, budgeting, and vendor/stakeholder management ensuring exceptional customer service to all stakeholders both internally and externally.
