We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our Finance & Administration team as a Finance Intern. Reporting to the Manager of Accounting, the intern will play a crucial role in supporting a variety of projects and general financial activities, including procurement, accounting, and financial analysis. This internship aims to provide an educational and practical experience, enhancing technical knowledge. Through this role, the intern will have the opportunity to apply their academic skills in a professional environment.

Requirements

The successful candidate must possess the following:

  • Current enrollment in undergraduate or graduate studies in an accredited college or university with major course work in Accounting, Public Administration, Business Administration, Marketing Development, Human Resources, Organizational Management, or a related field.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office, ability to utilize other software packages relevant to supporting the Finance Department’s core requirements.
  • Ability to conduct research and prepare clear and concise reports and analyses.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional, friendly and tactful manner.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, accountability and attention to detail.
  • High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service and interpersonal skills

Compensation

This is a full-time two (2) month summer position, Monday – Friday 8:30 – 4:30pm. The hourly rate is $16.55.
