Description

The Town of Lincoln is now accepting applications for the position of Head Leader for the Summer Adventure Camps. Our Day Camps consist of fun-filled days of crafts, active and co-operative games, environmental activities, music, swimming and splashing and much more! The Town operates camp sites, in Jordan and Beamsville. Successful candidates may be assigned to either location.

A Head Leader is responsible for assisting the Camp Coordinator with the planning and implementing of a high-quality and engaging program for children ages 4 – 12. In addition, Head Leaders are responsible for supporting and supervising staff and volunteers, ensuring a safe and positive day camp environment for all, in accordance with the policies and procedures outlined by the Town.

Requirements

Current Standard First Aid / CPR C certification;
High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development Certificate;
Minimum two (2) years’ experience working within a camp setting;
Some supervisory experience is preferred;
Valid Police Waiver (for those candidates over the age of 18);
Planning on returning to school in the Fall of 2024.

Compensation

This is a full-time summer position; shifts will vary between 7:45 am – 5:30 pm Monday – Friday. The hourly rate is: $18.25.
